Richard J. Block
From 1992 to 1997, Mr. Block was General Counsel for Nissin Foods (U.S.A.) Co., Inc., a subsidiary of Nissin Food Products Co., Ltd., a large multi-national corporation based in Osaka, Japan with worldwide operations. During his tenure with Nissin Foods, Mr. Block personally handled all immigration matters involving the transfer of Japanese nationals from the parent company to the U.S.

In 1998 Mr. Block formed the law firm of Mirsky & Block, PLLC which is based in Tarrytown, New York. Mr. Block concentrates his practice in immigration law with a particular emphasis on servicing U.S.-based subsidiaries of multi-national corporations and the firm offers full service in this area. He also practices in the areas of general corporate law, employment law, trademarks and food regulatory affairs.

Mr. Block is admitted in the states of New York, New Jersey and the District of Columbia and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

He has an undergraduate degree from the New York State University College at New Paltz and a J.D. degree from the Touro Law Center. Prior to obtaining a law degree, Mr. Block lived and worked in Japan for nine years and is fluent in the Japanese language.
