Dr. Carmine P. Gibaldi
Dr. Carmine P. Gibaldi is presently a Professor of Management and Organizational Behavior, both at St. John's University in New York city, and Harvard University in Cambridge Ma. He also maintains a management consulting practice within the Institute for Workplace Development located on Long Island N.Y. His practice addresses organizational issues related to Change, Leadership, Team building, and Understanding Adult Learners in Workplace Settings.
His graduate education attained at Columbia University includes degrees in Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and Adult Education. His doctoral degree combined these three areas of interest which lead to numerous publications in Working with Adult Learner in Organizations. Following the completion of his doctoral degree Dr. Gibaldi pursued post-doctoral training at Harvard University in Management Development.
During his 27 years of teaching and consulting Dr. Gibaldi has written extensively on Human Resources Management, Career Planning and Development, Strategic Planning, and Organizational Change. Presently he is researching the effects of Fear on People at Work, and Issues for Workers over 50 years of age.
Dr. Gibaldi has also sat on numerous Boards over the last 25 years, and presently sits on two Community Service and Diversity Boards. He is married to an Attorney, Mary-Rita Wallace, and they have two sons, Michael and James.
